Josh went swimming in Jenny Lake while we were at Teton National Park. The lake is formed by run-off from glaciers, and is really chilly. Clear as can be, though. He says it was really refreshing. I'll take his word for it.

We biked through Teton National Park last Sunday, and near the end of our 18-mile ride a quick moving hail storm caught us. The hail was slightly larger than marbles, and we just had to keep riding through it. We actually ended up with little round bruises on our arms and legs. The storm cloud moving in is shown in the top photo.

We just got back from Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Spent the week hiking and biking in the Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone. For some reason we are drawn out west for our annual summer vacation, and are never disappointed in the grandeur of the landscapes. I'll post some outtakes throughout the week as I get to them.

I had such a nice time with the S family tonight. The weather was perfect, and the children were adorable. Rachel came along to help with reflectors, and came in handy as the "peekaboo" helper. I loved so many of the shots, I just had to post quite a few!

We headed over to our favorite picnic spot this past weekend - Tyler State Park. Josh brought his fishing pole along and was out casting while we grilled some burgers. Unfortunately for him, his parents don't know a thing about fishing, so we couldn't offer any suggestions on bait or technique. He wasn't out there long before he caught this little sunny. We had to tap a fellow fisherman to get the fish off, and when Josh saw that the fish was somewhat stunned in the water, he decided to call it a day.
