Hidden Falls is located across Jenny Lake in the Grand Teton National Park. It was about a 6 mile hike, round trip. We made it back down to the lake, but elected to take the boat back, rather than finish the last 2 miles. 

Too cute is what Rachel and I thought when we met M today. She looks like a living, breathing doll. Rachel was a big help by providing the "Wheels on the Bus" and "Hokey Pokey" soundtracks and choreography while I shot away. One of my favorite works was from her older brother's session last year. Looking forward to doing some family shots later this week.

Just got back to retouching files from a recent shoot, and can't get over this baby's eyes. Could they be any bluer?

I have been wondering all spring and summer why my daylilies and black-eyed susans are not blooming. Jim called me this morning to look out into our front yard. Apparently this guy has been visiting every morning, usually with a buddy. Mystery solved.

Our visit to Old Faithful and Yellowstone was not what I was expecting. We pulled into this huge parking lot, and followed a concert-sized crowd into this open area with a triple row of benches all around. Everyone sat there for close to 45 minutes, and we finally saw little bursts of steam coming out. We oohed and aahed, and all of the cameras were clicking away, until the wind starting blowing the sulphur water all over us, and the whole crowd took off running away right in the middle of the "show."
